Object of Masonry in well defined by a poet. It is : |
To raise the weak, restrain the strong.
To chase the tear from sorrow's eye.
To aid the right , to check the wrong and bid the weary cease to sign.
To smooth the orphan's mournful cry.
A brother help's wherever he be.
To love all men beneath the sky.
This is the bond of Masonry. |
